Ball State’s bachelor of fine arts (BFA) in studio art with an emphasis in photography and intermedia explores expressive art forms emphasizing the development of photographic vision as well as technical proficiency.
The photography and intermedia area is committed to teaching you how to work with photography’s infinite creative possibilities and how to understand its artistic, social, and commercial applications. It is equally concerned with the time-based possibilities inherent to video and the intersection of various media forms.
Through traditional photographic avenues as well as newer ones involving digital technologies and 4-D, photographic images and video are everywhere we look.
